How to manage Song Requests at House Parties

1

Setup

Before the party begins, create an event with details such as name, start time, and duration. Rekwest generates a unique QR code or link that guests can scan or open in their browser to start requesting songs immediately. No app installation or account creation needed. You can display the QR code around your home using customizable poster styles that fit the party theme. To keep the music vibe consistent, you can restrict requests to a selected playlist or music source. Auto accept or decline rules can be set to minimize interruptions, letting you enjoy the party too.

2

During the Party

As guests request and vote for songs, you see the live list and can accept or decline tracks to keep the flow going. Accepted songs are added directly to Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud playlists, or even queued into compatible DJ software. You can enable optional tipping on song requests, offering a fun way for guests to contribute and increase the chance their favorite tracks get played.

3

After the Party

Send automatic thank-you emails to attendees and share highlights from the event. Rekwest's analytics show the most requested and most popular songs, providing insight into what kept the party energized.
